"Light a candle for a little orphan and go one better by supporting the organisations that support these little deserving souls“ Stephen Smith, the founder of The Papillon Foundation.

During December Papillon and one of their partner NGOs in Cape Town distributed new toys to 1 500 orphans at NGO,s in Gauteng and Cape Town.

The amazing story is that Papillon is now in its 13th year and with very little financial support they have assisted thousands over the years, not only in charity and welfare work (Social Enterprise), but also in the skills training field (Enterprise Development). This is a clear reflection of the determination of the Papillon staff, regardless of their own circumstances, to bring about better tomorrows for needy souls.

This world is really not such a bad place and we can all make a difference in the lives of those around us.
A great thank you to all of those who made this possible, most notably; KFC, Santa Shoeboxes, Rosebank Union Church, Forest Town Methodist Church, and our small army of angels.

As a registered PBO (Public Benefit Organisation) Papillon is Tax exempt (Section 18a) and they are also able to issue tax certificates for financial donations. Furthermore any prospective donor company can benefit in BEE scores via Papillon’s Social Enterprise and Enterprise Development projects.

Mane and Papillon Celebrate Africa Day on 25 May

The MANE Pty Ltd. company gave a day to paint the Papillon palisade fencing (paint also donated by MANE). It is this type of heart warming gesture that is required to turn this country around. No politics, no racism, no moaning and groaning, simply rolling up of the sleeves and an effort to do something worthwhile for the community.
