Consolidation (Jan 2002 – Jan 2016)
CHARITY DIVISION
416 tons of goods – Tons of donated goods were freely distributed to smaller charities, NGO’s, clinics, missions and worthy causes across the country!
(Clothing, blankets (annually), food, furniture, appliances, equipment, toys, Christmas presents (annually), toiletries, sweets, Easter Eggs (annually), soap, baby items, goods, etc.
Areas distributed to: Soweto, Carltonville, JHB South, Orange Farm, JHB North, JHB West, JHB East, and various provinces throughout South Africa.
1500 orphans and poor children are supported every year with new Christmas gifts in areas such as Orange Farm, Carletonville and locally. Groups of orphans are also taken on free outings and parties are hosted at day care centres with poor children.
Previous Charity Projects:
- Feeding Project (2002 – 2007) 144 618 meals served to the destitute, needy, street people and poor children
- Master Chef food distribution (2012 - 2013) 42 truckloads to 84 Projects in Gauteng and Cape Provinces
- Human Rights Project (2002 – 2008) 3 146 persons assisted

ICDL, Computers 4 Kids and Let’s Do It are engaged in a social outreach partnership to empower our people with accredited skills for the workplace.
Groups of children from special needs schools, the schools staff and teachers are also trained in computer courses by Papillon!
Papillon has also assisted 350 police officers, nurses, cashiers, cleaners and a variety of other low-end earners with accredited computer end-user qualifications.
66 small business owners and self-employed persons have thus far also graduated from
the computer courses. It is intended to help them to manage their efforts more effectively! Communication is the lifeblood of small businesses!
Mr. Pelham Lessing from Crossroads will partner from April to deliver accredited small business management skills at the Papillon centre in Rosettenville!

334 Community members graduated from the Project Management and Project Planning classes at Papillon.

Community Microsoft Refurbishment Project
1 566 Computers
donated computers were refurbished and placed
at smaller NGO’s and NPO’s across the country.
Several special needs schools such as Sparrows, Forest Town, Hamlet and Hermanus have also received refurbished computers from Papillon.
